The driving force behind the United Multi Gun Leagues, Pete Rensing, is back on the podcast this week to chat about all things USSL! Pete has been running matches for eight years and along the way he has put together a rule set that was formed out of necessity and a wide-ranging love for Outlaw matches in the world of 3-Gun. Over the years the rules became solidified and the shooters were loving the major matches so much that they would go back to their club matches and rave about them.
Recognizing an opportunity to add some unification to the sport Pete set about creating the United Multigun League which quickly expanded to the United Shooting Sports Leagues, encompassing all disciplines of practical shooting. Listen in to find out what the current situation is with UML, the big-picture goals of the organization and how you can become a member or bring UML to your local range and get in on the fun.
